Jeff

Jeff Scott Rust

A graduate of the Berklee College of Music who majored in Scoring for Film, Jeff has created sounds and music for Memphis area stage productions of Caryl Churchill's Cloud 9, Shakespeare's Cymbeline, Mark Dunn's fantastic tale Helen's Most Favorite Day, and several of David Ives' short plays in suite: An Evening With David Ives. In addition to performing as a drummer, electric bassist, keyboardist or vocalist with numerous bands, he has performed as a chorus member with Opera Memphis and as a staff musician with Carnival Cruise Lines. Some of Jeff's music can be heard in re-broadcasts of the popular FOX TV series 21 Jump Street.
A DVD release of this edition of the series is being marketed.
Five of Jeff's song productions for other artists are included in rebroadcasts of Hunter and Stingray.

Performing
The Delta Nomads (electric bassist and vocalist)
The band of guitarist/singer/songwriter Bill Walsh, drummer/percussionist Greg Young and guitarist/vocalist Chris Cooper.
During 2009 the group performed in Memphis area night clubs, neighborhood parties, outdoor community events, and at the Mid-South Fair.
A long standing, annual tradition in the Memphis area, the Mid-South Fair was held in Desoto County, MS for the first time in 2009.
The Delta Nomads released their first nine-song CD, Fully Loaded, in March of 2010.
The album includes featured performances by guest artists Kirk Smothers (saxophone) and Alan Hayes (keyboards).
